Epilepsy is a medical condition in which abnormal surges of electrical activity in the brain interfere with normal mental and physical functions. These are called seizures. People with epilepsy can live normal lives, but chronic difficulties with memory, attention, and language can make every day a challenge.
Epilepsy affects more than 65 million people around the world. Individuals with epilepsy and their families deserve to live a normal life. Give children and families HOPE. The TIME is now. Live life to the fullest while we work toward a CURE.
Hope Time Cure is a place where our goal is to enhance the life experiences of those affected by epilepsy. Hope Time Cure was founded by a family that deals with the daily effects of epilepsy and wants to help everyone affected by epilepsy have a better quality of life. Our focus is to help end negative perceptions, provide resources to those affected, and educate the public about seizure response and the challenges associated with epilepsy.
The Hope Time Cure Epilepsy Foundation's mission is to promote epilepsy awareness, education and to provide support to individuals with epilepsy and their families. Epilepsy should not be feared or stigmatized. It is a condition that deserves understanding and compassion and we aim to help.
There are 200,000 new cases of epilepsy each year, and close to 50,000 of them are children. Hope Time Cure was created to help raise awareness for this medical condition and help children who suffer from it lead a normal life.Learn More
