2020 Jerusalem Marathon

in memory of Ezra Schwartz

Yakira Solomont Brookline, MA

Runner’s Statement As many of you know I have been studying in Israel for many months now and have been looking forward to participating in the Jerusalem Marathon (10km). I’m very excited to take part in running on March 20th for Hope Time Cure, an organization that brings awareness and support to those who suffer from epilepsy. Since middle school, I’ve had the great opportunity to learn all about Hope Time Cure and what they do as an epilepsy foundation. This foundation has become very close to my heart as my uncle (my mom's brother, Barry) has struggled with epilepsy since his childhood. I also will be running in memory of Ezra Schwartz z”l who was part of our Maimonides School community. His energy and spirit continues to be remembered throughout the Maimonides School halls. I would greatly appreciate your support, if you could please donate to help me reach my goal as I run through Jerusalem.
